Initially booked for one night only but extended as soon as we got on the boat. It had recently been refurbished and was in excellent condition. All the diving equipment was new, and the fit-out of the boat was excellent. The food was terrific, and the crew worked tirelessly to make the stay exceptional and safe. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a trip on the GBR.
I go to Australia every year and have been doing this for the last five years. This year I decided to get my open water scuba diving license and went to Reef Encounter from December 30 to January 1. What a fantastic experience. The staff was helpful, friendly and polite. The instructors are experienced and inspire confidence. The food was excellent, and the places we visited in the Great Barrier Reef were. I will, for sure, go back, and I am already telling my friends who are travelling in Australia to pay a visit to these guys. Book it; you won’t be disappointed!
